Processor Intel Core i5 750

Latest mainstream Intel processor present in the form of entry-level processor, Core I5 750. Is a type of quad-core processor with a speed of 2.66GHz and 8MB of L3 cache memory and uses the latest socket LGA 1156.

Most of the internal function is identical to the Core i7 processor, which comes first and has been marketed since late last year. I5 750 core using a 45nm production process the same as Core i7 and take advantage of Intel’s latest processor architecture known as Nehalem.

Cheaper prices means there is something to be sacrificed. Memory controller triple-channel found in Core i7 original disappears, the item is replaced by a dual-channel simpler. Read the rest of this entry »
